Oh my that is a big change! It doesn’t even look like the same place. All those beautiful trees are gone but I have to say that that view is absolutely gorgeous without the trees but I know you would prefer the trees to be there or I would

Oh, this makes my heart hurt for the loss of those beautiful trees. This is an incredible testament to the savagery of fire.
Fire was part of the ecosystem until we started supressing it. They used to be lower intensity but with the build up of fuel they are much more devastating.
Andy’s love of the land seems to be a deep as it was all those years ago.

No trees now, just snowy mountains! It is so much prettier, but I would wish for the trees.
We loved the trees too. I’m glad we had them as long as we did.
