he had to park about 1.1 miles from the house and it was hard walking. It took him an hour and a half to get there.
He tried to plow the road but it was impossible, the snow wasn’t deep but it was so sticky it clung to the plow. So he’ll stay down here for at least a day or two…until the snow melts enough so he can park closer to the house.
We will let you know how it goes.

I am glad he is staying home, that ladder screamed danger to me, and him up there by himself. hope it melts soon.
We may have a couple of warm days before the next storm hits…if it comes.
Oh gosh, he must have been exhausted!!
Yes!
More than a mile on foot? I’m impressed — and terrified at the same time!
He’s used to walking that far, but not in that kind of snow.
Did you know you can apply a non-stick spray to a plow or snow shovel to help when the snow is sticky?
I was wrong, it wasn’t sticking to the blade, it just stuck together and wouldn’t go off the road… he was creating a new snowdrift, which is the last thing we need.
Oh my, that walk would have done me in.
Me too!
