Maybe Time to Slow Down?

So, yesterday I spent most of the day finishing the last quarter of the Rookie Level of Duolingo. There were eight units total, so I could see the finish line and figured I might as well polish it off. The next level is Explorer with nineteen units, so hopefully I will slow down and spend more time on my Possibility list.

Today when I thought of that list three things came to mind:

Work is precious, save some for tomorrow.

It’s no fun not having anything to do. The fun is having something to do and not doing it.

And, of course,

Eh, there’s always tomorrow.

I will let you know how it goes.

“It’s no fun not having anything to do. The fun is having something to do and not doing it.” I’ll have to keep that in mind the next time I’m doing what I call procrastinating. I’ll remind myself that I’m merely having fun 🙂

  2. I often save something for another day, not necessarily tomorrow.

I’ve now decided the bottom of the lidded box also needs to be painted black – but the paint room will be on laundry duty for most of tomorrow!

I’ve sorted out some card blanks which all need to be decorated possibly with this new “strip” art idea…

and on it goes for me…

This is the perfect time to update your Spanish speaking skills. I have wanted to do conversational Spanish classes because we have so many hispanics, working in the places we shop. it would be nice to be able to speak with them in their first language. I agree it is not fun to have nothing to do, but since the internet came along, that doesn’t happen. in fact I spend so much time on said internet I put off until tomorrow the house work

You seem to be getting thru it quickly! I sure agree with the quote…Fun is having something to do and not doing it!!! I always like to have some kind of project lined up.

It’s great for mental health. That’s why I married Andy. I had sense enough to know that he would wear well because he loved working on projects. Now that he’s 88 he’s slowing down, and I tell him we have a great thing going, don’t mess it up by letting anything happen to him.
