I’m aware of that “tool” but I’m not sure if they are common here.
One of contacts had a type of roaming device, possibly called “eye in the sky” which would alert the business if they thought she was in trouble. One time there was a mad panic when she was “just splitting some wood for her firebox” of course she was totally unaware…until emergency services showed up!
Let’s hope Andy doesn’t need it…
Thanks. He probably won’t.
this is fantastic, your mountain is the perfect case for needing this. prayers he never needs it and thankful he has it… quite the device and you KNOW i love it.
He can also send Kaitlin and me a message saying he needs help, which would be his first choice.
Good to have but hope it’s never used.
Yes, thanks.
I had no idea about any of that. Thanks for sharing it.
It’s a great backup.
One of those would be worth it just for the peace of mind everyone gets that help will be on the way if something should ever happen.
It’s great is areas where cell phones don’t have reception.
Impressive gadget!
Based on the video, I was thinking it might be more reliable than calling 9-1-1, but then I read it’s not meant to be used indoors. Oh well!
It’s designed for areas where cell phones don’t work so there’s no 911.
What an awesome new addition! I did not know this. We used to use Garmin, now we use Waze on the cell phone.
Cell phones don’t always have reception in the mountains.
I also hope the same as Andy.
Thank you. 🙂
