I usually like November, it’s the last month of my favorite season, fall. (I go by the meteorological calendar, so fall is September, October, November.) But this year my reaction is, where did November go?!. It just flitted by without me noticing. Does that ever happen to you?
November 25, 2023
That happens all the time. I thought I had two weeks to do before Thanksgiving and then someone told me no, it’s next week. What? That can’t be right. Time is just flying by.
I know!
yes, time is not flitting it is fleeing. I can’t believe we are staring at the 1st of Dec next week and that the year 2024 will be her in a flash. my favorite time of year here in Florida is November through May.. sunshine, cool nights, warm days. I think the internet could be the thief of time that is making things to faster. I will wander into the desktop, and think i have to start lunch in 2 hours and bada bada bing, 2 hours has gone and i am late starting. did it yesterday.
I think that’s a good thing, but not everyone agrees with me.
Yes, it sure does!
Wish I could cancel August and get a double dose of November.
I agree, summer is not my favorite season. I wilt in the heat so stay inside with the air conditioner and get absorbed in a project. 🙂
Yes. But it never seems to be the long winter months.
I like winter better than summer, but this past summer went whizzing, Hurray for absorbing hobbies!
I see time moving on too fast. Where did 2023 go! As to seasonal aspects, it’s been rough at tomes here, especially last summer. Err what summer. My region was on the receiving end of dreadful weather. Here’s hoping this summer is better. However I’ll be in another city which is more inland, so maybe better.
It will be interesting to compare the weather. I hope you love your new place. 🙂
That’s a terrific cartoon, and it’s really very true!
