But unlike Ben and his wife I don’t sleep with the window open! What about you?

No way would I sleep with the window open. My furnace kicks on enough as it is. If the window was open, it would never stop running.

I don’t sleep with windows open even if its not cold. the noise from outside bothers me. I did when growing up, we had no AC until I was married with kids.
I do sleep better the colder it is. and if Beau was not such a cold hearted dog, no heat is how we slept. now i put it on to keep house around 68 for him.

  3. I do nine months out of the year but in the dead of winter there is no way that will happen here in Michigan when the temperatures are around freezing.

  4. Myra Guca says:

One of my fondest childhood memories was sleeping (upstairs) in Winter with the window slightly ajar. Today, there’s no way. I don’t know if I’m more concerned with two or four-leg creatures of the night coming in. Being on a single level home is sometimes a little unsettling.

  5. Oh no, no open windows here but I would take the extra 10 minutes!

  6. Heck no, there is not a window open.

  7. Linda Sand says:

We keep our window closed but I had a friend who opened his window 1″ year around here in Minnesota. Brrrr.

    • Jean says:

We’re all different. The temperature in the bedroom here gets down to below 60 even with the window closed. My ideal is 65, hard to get in the summer even with the widow open and the fan on.

  8. Bruce Taylor says:

Uh-uh. I turn the thermostat down to 68 at night and promptly back up to 75 in the morning.
