I have never even been to or seen twitter, and the only reason i have FB is for a few times a week to see what my family is up to, with a few bloggers. I also have never and will never taken my phone to bed with me, it lives on the kitchen counter. I do pick it up first thing when i get up in the am, to see who did what first thing. I do read when I go to bed, it helps shut my brain down from the what ifs
My phone does not go to bed with me. I don’t even check it first thing in the morning. And I have it set to not ring while I’m sleeping, either. So I miss a lot of calls and texts. I have now set my phone so my doctor’s calls and calls from security here checking on our well being do come in. If we forget to turn off our alarm system in the morning, they call. If we do not answer the call, they come banging on our door. Not a good way to wake up as we found out when they got a false alarm at 6 am the other night. That’s why we added them to our list of calls to let through.
I’m in the majority (of your commenters, at least) who have only visited Twitter a few times and am generally ignoring X altogether. Musk may be brilliant but he’s a terrible boor.
A few years ago I joined Twitter … for like 15 minutes. While I don’t read in bed, my phone’s always within reach if for nothing else than letting me know what time of the day/night it is.
I tried Twitter but I just didn’t care for it at all. I think I still have an account but it’s been years since I’ve even been there.
Apparently it’s really bad now. 🙁

Shutting down the brain is so important. 🙂
It was so mean over at Twitter we dropped it and our 25,000+ followers. X is just a stupid name.
That’s too bad about the meanness, and the name change. 🙁
I don’t use Twitter but do think the X is stupid.

That’s a nice backup system, but it would be easy to forget to shut it off!
I agree with you but I too seldom ever used Twitter.
I miss the bird even if I’ve never posted anything there.

Yes, he’s not always nice. I listened to Isaacson’s biography.

They are great for that!
