Here’s picture of the new plum tree. It’s little but it’s alive.
These are the plants that cushioned his fall.
And these pictures show how steep the land is. Andy says the slope is about 26°, about the same as the roof on the house.
With his feet that high over his head it took him a while to get back up, and we’re thankful he wasn’t hurt.

Is he sore from the fall? I hope the cushioning was enough to prevent soreness, too.
Amazingly he isn’t sore at all.
This terrain looks worse than what I imagined!
A lesser man might not have fared as well (as he did).
I always use my walking sticks when I go there!
So sorry to hear about Andy’s fall but grateful it didn’t do any lasting damage to him or the tiny tree.
It’s amazing that he isn’t even sore.
Oh my gosh, this is way too steep! No one except the young should attempt it. But I can see now that those plants would really cushion the fall.
When I walk there, I use my walking sticks!
So very steep!!! We hope Andy is doing OK. No more falls, please.
He’s doing fine, doesn’t hurt at all, thank goodness.
all care
Yes.
I would take one look at that slope and never put foot upon it. so glad he is not harmed. Men seem to have a mind that says do things that they have always done, the mind says ok, the body doesn’t..
He’s trying to be aware of how things are changing. I never walk there without my two walking sticks.
Wow, that is a really steep spot there. He’s so lucky he didn’t get hurt.
I’m amazed too. Those bushes weren’t that thick.
