I’ve been studying Spanish every day for a year now. It’s my anniversary!
How cool is that? The past year has zipped by, so it’s nice to have something to show for it. There is still plenty more to learn, so hopefully I’ll keep plugging along.

Congratulations on the full year! Do you practice speaking it out loud?
Yes. Spanish is a phonetic language, so saying words out loud helps me to remember them. My accent sucks, but it doesn’t matter.

I’ve been trying Duolingo for a couple of weeks. It’s fun but I am still resisting the constant pleas to try Super Duolingo.
I bought Super Duolingo almost immediately, then a couple of months later I bought the family plan. I do two exercises every day, one a lot more advanced than the other. How crazy is that?? For some reason it works for me.
