Hurray for Weather Forecasts

Andy sent this email yesterday,

it got to 19 last night and is 43 with howling wind now!

They forecasted a low of 28, but that was enough for Andy to drain the watering system Sunday. Thank goodness for the warning!

we too are always grateful for our weather guys.. and for radar and our weather app. that is really cold, I sometimes forget how high your altitude is. we woke up to 76 this morning going to 90, and predicted out for next 10 days with no rain at all and Florida is broiling. in the past year here at our house we have had 3 light sprinkles of rain. we had one rain of 1 inch and the other 2 were not even measurable

The warnings are a blessing! That is cold!

What a crazy patchwork quilt our United States! I think we’re supposed to reach 91* today before cooling off.
Unlike Arizona, our meteorologists are rarely bored.

  4. It sure is good to have a heads up on things like that!

  5. Early May is too soon to count winter out. Glad he got the chance to drain the lines.

Wow, it got really cold. Yes, that was a blessing getting that warning for the weather.

    Good grief, it’s spring!

We are grateful for warnings too, but we wish they were more accurate sometimes. Glad you and Andy got the word on the cold temps in a timely way.
But isn’t it time to warm up? πŸ™‚

I keep saying, “Pretty soon I’ll be whining about the heat.” Andy used to be a kindred spirit on that, but now he likes it warmer.
