Do you remember when Andy planted the new plum tree:
And that when he fell backwards these bushes broke his fall?
Well this is what those bushes looked like on May 29:
They are clearly thriving. In fact, most of the plants up there are thriving too.
The one exception was the plum tree. It died.
I’ll write tomorrow about what we did next.
June 15, 2024
sad about the plum tree
but great about the thriving plants
Andy’s ever hopeful. 🙂
There’s a red snake in your garden.
God bless.
More than one. 🙂
…this looks like a hostile environment.
For fruit trees, but that doesn’t stop Andy.
I love seeing all thst green appearing…but nedcto be on computer to see better.
🙂
Aw darn, poor plum tree. Everything else looks beautiful though. I love all that green
We do too. 🙂
scrolling through all the photos I was excited to see how good and green everything is and them POOF the bad news of the dead tree. I am guessing he planted another one. at least if he falls in those same bushes it will be a cushion. I love that path through the green
We love to see the greenery too. 🙂
That’s sad about the poor plum tree.
Thanks.
What an amazing difference! I love the purple blooms!
Those are lilacs we planted years ago.
Wow, everything is really thriving and growing. EXCEPT the one thing you wanted to!! I wonder why? Maybe they are really fussy to grow. What is the gorgeous purple plant?
The purple plant is a lilac. They like it up there. Fruit trees have a lot more problems.
Those bushes are really thriving. So sorry about the plum tree.
Thanks, but it’s not as if we haven’t had over 40 years of problems with fruit trees. 🙂
Oh too bad it died.
Thanks. Andy will keep trying. 🙂
That is too bad about the plum tree, but everything else looks so green and healthy.
Thanks.
