I was intrigued by the little tree from Etsy, so when it came I ordered another one directly from the sender. It looked a bit more bedraggled than the first one, but I planted it in a big peat pot.
Then when it started to put out new leaves Andy planted in the greenhouse for a while. So far it looks happy there.
Eventually he wants to plant it down in our orchard. As usual, fingers crossed.

Let us hope you are successful with this plum tree.
God bless always.
Thanks. 🙂
I am thinking it will grow…I would want to put a cage around it when I planted in the orchard to keep a wild animal from eating/destroying it.
We have a chain link fence around the area. We had it built years ago because the bears started tearing down our trees while trying to eat the fruit.
…most of us start out small and scrawny.
Not so scrawny any more!
Hooray for another plum tree and yes, it looks happy!
🙂
I’ll be watching — fingers crossed, and expecting the little fellow to thrive!
🙂
Fingers crossed for plum success 🙂
Thanks. 🙂
its cute and I love the pencil holding it up right. just the right size.. good idea to have a better chance to have one that has fruit and 2 is great if they both do
It will be a few years if they survive, and who knows what will happen by then. It’s still fun to try.
Doing well!!
🙂
Hope both of your green thumbs are successful with the new tree.
Thanks. 🙂
Happy little plum tree – and the greenhouse will love caring for him/her 🙂
