Baby Foxes or Coyotes?

These are the first three pictures in the Flickr album of Beate’s pictures of the walk last Tuesday:

On her Facebook page Beate asked if the pups were foxes or coyotes. I vote for coyotes.

Baby fox:

There are a lot more cute pictures at wallpapercave.com.

Baby coyotes:

I vote for coyotes, they have longer legs than foxes, and foxes often have a white tip on their tail. What do you think? (If you would like more information, click here.)

I would say coyote too. Whatever it is, it sure is cute.

  9. They are certainly cute at that age, however, they do scare me when they come around. We haven’t seen any in a few years yet I believe they are still out there. Since we lost our Skye we are not out in the yard much at night.

Based on what we saw in the past on Romping and Rolling in the Rockies, we agree, they are baby coyotes. We miss that blog so much.
