We had another thunderstorm and brief downpour yesterday afternoon.
It even got our sheltered porch wet.
And made some puddles in the dog park.
This is what July used to be like before the rainy seasons stopped. It brought back great memories.

We still need it, I’m afraid. Although we are now on the borderline between abnormally dry and moderate drought. A lot better than some years.
I always loved to sit on our porch when it rained when I was a kid..and I still do but most of the time it is blowing the rain in till you can not.
It’s a lot nicer without that wind.

Downpour is right! We’ve had weather lately that brought back memories of what was a normal summer in Minnesota. I miss those days and have taken full advantage of them while they are here.
Yes, I doubt very much that this is the new normal. So we’re enjoying it while we have it.

It was coming down hard for a while.
Although we have had a decent amount of rain over the past months, it dries out very quickly. We could us a drop or two so we don’t have to run the sprinkler system and pay those high water bills.

We are also getting the rains like what we used to get. cloud bursts almost every day, pours like crazy for 15 minutes and gone. sun comes back out and FL is bursting out green every where. I hope this will help guard you from fire season
