I was thinking of going back up to the land this weekend, but I’m having second thoughts. This was tonight’s weather forecast:

I redrew the bear with water color pencils:
Then I went over it with a wet paintbrush. It smooths out the pencil marks.

Yes, the second one looks much better! This seems like a trick that only an artist would know!
It was fun to try.
yep that’s the idea with water color pencils you can smooth out your lines and fill in your filling 🙂
we are having what seems like a few fine days
I’m glad about. your weather. 🙂
God bless always.
🙂
That is some cool temps! Your bear is even cuter.
🙂
Very cute!
🙂
…life is all about timing.
🙂
Yes, I think it’s a good idea to pass on a trip to the land. The bear is cute!
🙂
Cute! The child that was me is doing a happy dance at Saturday night’s forecast.
We are supposed to get a bit of snow up there this weekend. Well see.
Love the expression on the first bear’s face and the fuller bodied paint on the second one.
🙂
Never used water color pencils, but they did a nice job on your cute bear. We were just below freezing this morning but the temps are going back up tomorrow. The flowers were covered last night and survived. The pups LOVE the cooler air
i imagine the pups do love the cool weather!
It’s going to be too darn cold here tonight. Such a cute bear.
We finally turned on the heater last night. Summer is definitely over. 🙂
Oh my, low of 27. That’s cold. I know it’s coming but I’m not ready for that yet.
Your little bear is so cute. I have watercolor pencils, I should pull them out and play around with them some.
I think they’re fun to play with. 🙂
Oh my, that weather is not good.
Love your bear!
🙂
yikes, that is way to cold today we got down to 59 but it is in mid 80’s now. I like this bear. I used the iPad for drawing doodles and crazy stuff while we sat in the dark at night for 6 nights with nothing to do, some I kept some I erased.
Playing with art can help us keep our sanity. I’m so sorry you had to go though that ordeal.
