Does This Count As a Hobby?

I love hugging and snuggling with Clancy and Pup.

Does that count as a hobby? It doesn’t take long to do, but it awakens the little kid in me and makes me happy.

    If you think it’s a hobby, it is. There are no rules about what is a hobby. Some oeoplecwoukd think making quilts a job, but they are not to others.

      I agree with you about quilting. It’s not something I would enjoy, but I can see how you would love it. The nice thing is we get to choose.

    My “makes me happy” toy is baby Sweets from the Sunshine Family dolls from the 1970s. I have several outfits, some of which I made. I have several pieces of furniture including a dresser I made by stacking penny match boxes and covering them with Contact paper. They make me smile every time I see them.

    Sure it’s a hobby and what’s more you don’t have to take them out for walks and (toilet trips). Consider that last part whispered.

    Here is the definition of a hobby from a dictionary:
    An activity done regularly in one’s leisure time for pleasure:

    So it does seem to fit the definition of a hobby. I was surprised! ?

    happiness in any form if done regularly (whatever regular is to you) is a HOBBY

    I have a live bear to hug and do it all day long, BeauBear is his name. yes this counts as a hobby

    I don’t know if that is a hobby but it sounds like a happy place to me!
