An Interesting Morning

When I got up yesterday morning the power was out and this was what I saw from my living room window,

I was thinking about the non-internet things I could work/play with, but the power was only out for an hour so things were mostly back to normal for me. Andy decided to wait until today to try going up to the land. The next storm isn’t expected to come in until tomorrow.

Update: the snow has mostly melted down here.

Andy didn’t go up to the land because a water-main leak blocked the way he usually goes. The detour would have taken an extra hour each way. Never a dull moment.

Wow! Hard to believe…I still feel.like a kid at heart when it snows.

  2. MadSnapper says:

I hope we don’t get snow down here, the weather is so wacky anything is possible, like Hurricane Rafael that is about to hit Cuba and come out into the middle of the Gulf, after 3 hurricanes I don’t think I can do another one

    Jealous, party of one!
Like Rose, I remember how watching the season’s first snowfall felt magical … our poor teacher may have been speaking Arabic for the (non) attention she was getting.

I love to see it snow…..Not usually a thing around here. The crisp air and the areas covered with white is always so wonderful when ever we DO GET SNOW. Glad your power did not stay off. Stay warm….

  5. I hate to see the first snow of the season. Stay warm!

…I like snow, but not this early.

  7. We had snow last week but it melted in a couple of days. I would like some that sticks. November is brown and bleak here.

  8. Ginny Hartzler says:

You’re kidding! It is 70 degrees here today. Well, at least you have power now and the snow has stopped.

  9. So sorry that you power was out and OMG on the snow!

  10. Ann Thompson says:

Oh no, not snow already. I know it’s coming before long but I’m not ready for it. Today we actually got up to 79

  11. The OP Pack says:

Snow!!! My pups would love it, but not me. I am not a snow or ice fan. Be careful walking if you have to go out.

  12. Bruce Taylor says:

And you said you live at the North Pole?

  13. Yikes! I think it’s way to early for any snow, especially in the South!
