I found an old notebook yesterday and read these lines:
Have you found a suitable expression for who you are, for your natural talents and energy? That’s what winning in life is all about.
I’m guessing I was copying from something I read, but I didn’t write down the source. It reminds me of Shug’s post Blogging is good:
I just want you all to know that I love Blogging. It is a place where I find PEACE and connection.
I consider my blog to be a creative outlet that allows me to express myself, reflect on life, and connect with like-minded people.
Amen to that! That means all of us dedicated bloggers are winners in life. I know when I discovered blogging I knew it was what I had spent years searching for.

I really have enjoyed the connections through blogging…sometimes I have a hard time even doing the every other day blog posts.
It’s a real commitment, but it’s worth it.
…blogging has become my thing!
Yes!
Yes! Shug expressed so wonderfully the joy I feel every time I come here. How poor my life would be had I not discovered Blogging.
Amen to that!
You are so sweet for mentioning my blog. When I began blogging, I was not in a great place. I had just experienced the worse attack of anxiety. My mother had passed away, and then our grandson was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 8. Those years were difficult….I began blogging as a way to release my anxiety.. What a huge Blessing it has been…changed my life and I am so grateful. I enjoy all of my blogging friends and it is wonderful to hear about what is going on in their lives as well as their families…Hope you have a very blessed day…
I hope you had a great day too. 🙂
I returned to blogging in 2022 after several years away, drawn into FB then instagram. I had enough of that and tentatively returned to my blog. I’m so happy I did. It is different in tone and feel than “social” media.
I agree. I follow some people on Facebook, but it can’t compare to blogging.
I love blogging too. It connects us with like-minded people and gives us a sounding board for our thoughts, dreams and worries.
Yes. 🙂
I agree with all of this. Blogging is almost like a modern -day journal.
I wrote in a journal for years, but I wanted more connection. Blogging gives me that.
I love blogging too, but somedays it just seems hard to find good fodder from the pups:)
I spend a lot of time poking around looking for ideas.
Blogging is a good place to go for those of us compelled to write. I don’t write as much now but some days the compulsion is there.
It keeps me busy looking for ideas.
Blogging pals are just the best!
Yes!
Well said!
🙂
I had moved away from everybody I knew. I started blogging to keep in touch with family and friends, but it has become so much more over the years. I have made friends and several pen pals, too. It is like my public journal–lol!
I looked for pen pals for a long tine before blogging came along. 🙂
