Hmmm, interesting question. I’ve seen pictures on Facebook of beautiful log cabins expertly decorated for Christmas. I’ve thought how wonderful that would be to have all my family spending a Christmas vacation together in one. As crazy as this sounds coming from someone who doesn’t like the snow much, it would be somewhere snowy.
But you would be nice and cozy inside, and presumably you wouldn’t have to shovel snow. 🙂

I have no idea…wherever it would be, it would have to have the whole family or I would not enjoy it.

Someplace where the summers are cooler and not hot, the winters are snowy and cold and there are no neighbors shooting guns, fireworks and making loud noises like the ones I have now (and I live in the country where it is supposed to be quiet). And of course I would never live anywhere without a dog or two or three.
That’s too bad about the noise. About where do you live?
In mid Michigan. I have lived a lot of places in a lot of years and this is by far the worst of mankind I have ever seen. We have been here for 8 years trying to get out.
Right where I am now. I am so content with what I have, and have no urge to roam at my age. Home is a comfort to me. What about you?

I really like where we live now since I don’t have to go out in the snow but I do have fond memories of the year we took a week long cruise from Hawaii over Christmas. Seeing an active lava flow at night looked like Christmas lights.
Memories are nice, and so is not having to travel. 🙂
Provided my loved ones could come along, I’d love to be a) in Vienna, Austria or b) aboard a Transatlantic ocean liner.

Oddly, right where I am, I am content with loved ones visiting me and then some great visits to family where I will be fed and watered.
