My Grandbabies!

I received an email from Kaitlin Friday:

Girls got “Dogs of the Day” reward at the vets! Unfortunately for them the trophies were collar flowers instead of steaks or tuna.

How cool is that? Kaitlin says the pups love going to the vet (the Concord Animal Hospital ) because they always go together, even into the examination room, and they get treats at the end.

They were there because Tempi was having trouble with her eye, and when the vet looked into her eyes she said,

She’s smart! She’s more like a human than a dog.

Yes, we have noticed that.

Then the vet looked into Zoe’s eyes and said

She’s smart too. You must have trouble with them.

Well, yes, they do get into trouble sometimes. But they’re more than worth it because of all the joy they bring.

They both look so sweet. Sorry they got collar flowers instead of steaks. Maybe the next time they go the vet can do better.

They are smart, in knowing that they get treats and therefore, the Vet is a great place to go. Both of them are really very sweet looking. There flowers are cute, but I am sure they would have preferred a good ol’ steak.

  6. Ah, to need to settle for flowers instead of steaks!

  7. They are so cute – I love dogs – I wish I could have one. Our old dog did NOT like the vet – treat or no treat!

  8. That is really sweet they got the flowers and it is good they like going to the vet. Of course when they get such compliments and can go together—what’s not to love. 🙂

This is the first time I have heard of dogs being this good at the vets! Maybe because they can comfort each other. So what was the eye problem?

  10. Such a sweet post. They are both so cute. I miss having a dog.

Congratulations lady girls! I, too, would rather anyday have a steak than flowers.
Did the vet discover what’s ailing Tempi’s eye?

  13. They really are such pretty sweeties!!!
