I don’t know why some people couldn’t see the weather forecast for last Saturday:
It predicted snow, and sure enough Andy didn’t go up to the land that day. Sunday he went to the mesa across from ours and took this picture of it, but didn’t go any farther.
We knew it would melt fast, so he went all the way up yesterday:
The temperature is supposed to be in the 60s for the rest of the week so the snow should continue to melt.
April 22, 2025
It is amazing how fast it melts.
Yes. It’s fun to watch.
That was a lot of snow in the forecast. Ours had mostly rain.
Gentle rains are my favorite.
…spring is a tug-a-war between winter and summer.
Exactly!
Yes. 🙂
My kiddos celebrated Easter in Colorado and sent pictures of it snowing…the next day a lot of it was melted..
That’s the beauty of spring snows.
SNOW one day CLEAR the next!
That’s not unusual tn the spring.
CRAZT weather! One day snow, another day hot!
Yes. 🙂
The sky seems so much clearer (and cleaner) there in the mountains. Those clouds, so pretty. The first one for instance, reminds me of an angel flying with her head facing down.
It’s still relatively clear. It was spectacular when we came 50 years ago.
And we chuckled when our weather guy said yesterday that he was pretty sure winter was gone:). Some pups here would be quite happy with an April snowfall.
I know, your poor pups. 🙂
tomthebackroadstraveller has it exactly right!
🙂
Oh no, not snow!
We liked the precipitation because we knew it wouldn’t last long.
It is finally warming up
Yes. 🙂
That’s the thing with snow this time of year, it doesn’t last more than a day or two.
