Serendipity?

noun
good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries

When Andy came out for dinner the other night he said he had fallen when he got out of the chair. He wasn’t hurt, but we were wondering how to avoid that in the future. Then later that evening when I was looking for something else on the web I came across this video. It wasn’t our favorite — it was slow in presenting the information and there were a lot of interruptions with advertisements, but we each found some things to practice.

I would call that serendipity. Has anything like this happened to you lately?

I am thankful that Andy was not injured. These are some great suggestions of things to help us. When my father-in-law was at home, he fell so many times and it had gotten to the point that we could not lift him up. My husband purchased this device (not expensive at all) that plugs in and you slide it under the person, then it lifts them up to the point that a person can be helped into a chair.

I tried to watch the video because I wanted to see what they said but you’re right, it’s slow in presenting the important points. I gave up.
Glad Andy wasn’t hurt when he fell
