Two things:
- Old age isn’t all bad. I used to love winter more than summer because I slept better at night. My ideal temperature for the bedroom at night was 65°F. Two nights ago it was 76°F with a little fan blowing and I slept just fine.
- I wish you lived closer so I could give you some tomatoes.
This isn’t a good picture, but the container is 9″ tall so it gives you an idea of how many tomatoes Andy brought home.

Oh homegrown toms!
🙂
Those tomatoes certainly look lovely.
God bless.
🙂
Those look delicious! Wow!
🙂
…getting old beats not getting old.
Yes!
Oh I wish I lived closer. I love fresh homegrown tomatoes. I remember when my dad had his garden. He lived alone and had a huge garden. Neighbors and relatives always got bags of produce from his garden
Lucky neighbors!
I still prefer it cooler, but sleeping well at any temp is the best. 🙂
I’m grateful.
It’s become much more humid here, which is what I really cannot deal with. I have always favored autumn and winter, now it’s more than ever.
I have five tomato plants. Why do I do this?
We’re lucky that it’s dry when the temperature gets high.
yummy tomatoes
🙂
Your tomatoes look so GOOD!
They are good!
I still like it 65, but I don’t set it to that because of $$.
Wish I could have some of those tomatoes!
I wish you lived closer. 🙂
I still need 65 degrees to sleep well in the summer. But I weigh quite a bit more than you!
🙂
One of my fav memories was mother cracking open my bedroom window … even in Winter. Like Sandie, I keep our A/C set at 75 solely to keep our electric bill reasonable.
Love the looks of those tomatoes!
🙂
I just took a good look at our tomato barrel this morning and counted nearly 3 dozen! If they all escape the bugs, we’ll have a happy summer.
Fingers crossed!
Tomatoes look amazing. I have ONE ready to pick on my plant:)
Hopefully more will be on their way. 🙂
I too wish I lived closer.
