It was yesterday, the third Sunday in July, but I read about it too late for this post. That is no doubt why NBC10Boston posted an article about Kaitlin and Torben’s favorite ice cream stand.
…there really is something special about an ice cream stand situated in a quiet, pastoral area, and the Carlisle location of Kimball Farm pretty much serves as a blueprint for such a place.
Yes! Kaitlin and Torben took us there twice when we visited in
2021.
The second time Andy and I got a banana split to share.

Happy memories.
July 21, 2025

…yes and I didn’t have any!
🙂
Great memories indeed!
🙂
That is one BIG banana split!
Yes! We saved part of it for later.
That is a huge Banana Split but it does look good. This coming from a person who rarely eats ice cream. It’s those special, out of the way places that serve up the Best.
🙂
Woah, even I couldn’t eat that much cream and I love ice cream!
🙂
Wow, look at the size of those! Ice-cream is my go-to comfort food.
🙂
Wow! That was one huge banana split! But very good memories. 🙂
🙂
Yes to ice cream, anywhere!
🙂
Y’all look so happy. The expression on Andy’s face is priceless!
🙂
Oh darn. I didn’t know I would have gone and gotten some
🙂
I can’t have dairy in any form and I sure do miss ice cream!
Apparently l=hey do make dairy-free ice cream. But I’ve never tried it.
But did you eat it all??!!
We saved part of it for later but I think we never did finish it all. 🙂
I am speechless!
🙂
That is quite the large banana split!!! Bet the ice cream was delicious. Wonderful memories. Sunday was my husband’s and son-in-law’s birthdays. SIL’s mother made her delicious homemade vanilla ice cream and our daugher provided all the toppings and mix-ins. A great time for all of us.
That sounds great! 🙂
