    LOL! I guess I am lucky I have never had a dog that chewed up books. But I had a cat once who sharpened his claws on the books in my bookcase! Ruined the spines of a whole bunch of books!

    Paper seems to be a favorite among many canines. It must be tasteless to them, though! Maybe they just like tearing it up.
