I went out with my daughter yesterday and I only pulled my phone out once to take a few pictures while we were in Hobby Lobby.

What a simple and peaceful reflection. There is something truly calming about enjoying the changing seasons and appreciating small moments like a walk in the sun, even after rain. It reminds me that God’s provision is seen not only in abundance but in the quiet blessings around us each day. I would be glad if you took a moment to read my latest posts as well.

I do not talk on my phone when walking or driving. In the car I don’t even looked to see who or what it is. I carry the phone with walking Beau because I might fall or have a dog attack us, or even get run over by a car. I tested my phone while walking, and with it off and in my pants pocket, it heard me say, Hey Google call Home, and it did.. now if I fall or get hurt I can just shout hey Google call 911 and it will. I spend my walks watching the amazing sky each morning, or looking at the cats watching us walk by, or the Dane barking at his window, all things I love, listening to birds and looking at the trees they are in is a favorite. I once burst out laughing at the mocking bird, sitting on a tall street light singing and singing and singing, we see teens on bikes, scooters, walking to school talking on their phones or music blasting from their phones
That’s a great use of your phone when you are walking! I hadn’t thought of using my voice to call 911. 🙂
