Fall Colors

A lot of people associate fall with orange and red, but around here fall colors are mostly yellow and green. In good years they can be spectacular, but not this year. The nights have been too warm for the colors to be brilliant, but it was still worth driving up to see them. (The photos don’t do them justice, of course.)

The fall colors are so stunning….even the green and yellow. We mostly get brown leaves because we don’t have enough cool weather for the color change. makes me sad!

Even the worst of falls are pretty. Our leaves haven’t really started to turn color yet. A few trees have, but so many are dropping their leaves this year without even turning color. Crazy weather.
