It Went Fine Yesterday

Actually it wasn’t the first time the phone line needed repair. It happened twice before in the 50 plus years we’ve had it. And like the previous two times we didn’t even see the technician.

When I made the appointment they said they would come between 8 AM and 5 PM, but they would text me in the morning to narrow the time period. Sure enough, at 7:46 AM I received a text saying the technician would be there between 8:25 and 12:25, and they would text me when they were on their way.

At 10:43 a text said they would be there soon, and at 11:27 they said they were done, the line was working again.

How easy was that? Their internet is also reliable, so we’re happy customers. We don’t take good service for granted.

Yay for the quick response to getting the phone fixed. I just now noticed that this phone has a rotary dial.. If you are on a call and they say “Press 1 now” do you just dial the 1 ? Like Kaitlin…I do love that phone and wish I had one!!

  7. Prompt and efficient. Better internet is a bonus.

  8. Well that’s great news!

And they didn’t even need to come inside! Well, you had suspected that the problem was outside I think.

Back in the day when I was a news director, I had a bright red landline phone installed in my home. It wasn’t a designated line or anything, I used it as often to call the station as I did to order pizza. But I liked it. It made me feel . . . important? I guess today it would have to be gold.

  11. I’m glad they got it all fixed up for you!

This looks just like the model my parents had on the wall in my childhood home.
Communication is key, and it sounds like your provider delivered!
