I will gloat in your good company anytime!
it’s almost like I waited my whole life to be retired!
hard to believe by “little” Jacob turned 13 years old a month ago.
he said “I’ve waited my whole life to be a teenager!” LOL.
I know just how he feels. 😀
Glad y’all enjoy your retirement. I enjoy my job very much, but not sure I want to gloat, since there are many who won’t be too comfortable in retirement and can’t continue working. But perhaps I just need to embrace some Sanyasi attitudes and let their problems go.
Especially when tomorrow morning, the property will have 3 vehicles leave and I will be here to do my own thing. Not all the vehicles leave in the morning because M is at University training to be a nurse, but I notice most Mondays’ when classes are on, he’s not here. (he drives well, & he took up the parking I offered at side of my pad..so his exit is via the concrete pad, but not the gaping hole side)…
My only scheduled visitor tomorrow is the grocery delivery courier – of which I’m looking forward to (haven’t online grocery shopping possibly a decade…must have been a while, because I had to re-register)
Ditto. My reaction exactly when I read that cartoon earlier this morning in one of our newspapers.
Yes, celebrate!

I was made for retirement too! 😀

Sounds like a good idea!
I enjoy being retired as well…
