ummmmmmmmmmm indeed, what does 2018 have in store for us – not from our planning point of view, but from other viewpoints.
a lot drier here today, although the driveway (oops that track that was formally known as a driveway) isn’t any drier looking. I have no way to get off said property so I can’t see the part further up that they didn’t attack!!
quite possibly – no workman came as one had said, he would…and as it’s not raining, it’s actually wobblyers than it was – because it wasn’t laid on a flat surface to start with…and of course it really doesn’t reach the solid ground.
I suspect that the day I’m released I will go away the whole day – if it is sunny and fine…
I’m hoping for deepest apologies – but I don’t hold my breath on that one from either contractors, my prop manager or the other landlord…
Fire And Fury has brought about a very interesting stage in the USA. Yes, different loyalties will keep fingers crossed for different reasons. Very interesting times are ahead.
The guy who has glued his fingers together in the crossed position is Pence!
Politically, 2017 was a pretty crappy year. But I had a rather good year myself. I decided to retire at the end of March 2018. My mum moved to a care home where she’s a lot happier than in her old flat. I had a prostate problem fixed. And I was told I had a tiny trace of prostate cancer, but it’s not a worry because it will grow very slowly or not at all. Unfortunately whatever year it is, I still have to endure the British winter, which may not be as harsh as the US right now, but is still pretty miserable.
what plans do you have in place for your forthcoming retirement – after you’ve got over the euphoria? seems like 2017 has been a “tidy-up” year, right now to checking your health. Health is so important in this time of going from work-like and a leisure-life. This 2nd notion you want to be great…

Will you be stuck there all weekend?

It sucks if they don’t even apologize!
It sure does feel like it is ticking!
It’s not going to be boring!
My fingers and toes are all crossed, and I figured it couldn’t hurt if a few paws were too!
I agree!
Fingers crossed
And waiting to exhale.
Well, it does help to breathe. 😀

I don’t think the book will have much affect. People already knew what Trump was like.
I sure hope my fingers don’t cramp up…keeping them crossed to long.
Coffee is on
😀

One nice thing about retirement is some days you can stay inside. 🙂
