Wild Animals and Humans

They keep telling us not to interact with wild animals because it’s not safe for either us nor them. Apparently some animals haven’t gotten the message.

  2. I’ve seen these photos before but I never tire of seeing them. Animals are a curious lot and these pictures are living proof of that.

Big smiles. Sceptical look at baby deer standing on back, but fun. So I went to the website and got to smile all over again. Thanks for the link.

    A little bit scarey.

  5. Ann Thompson says:

Oh these are funny. I’m not quite sure how I would react if a wild animal came up to me like that while I was taking pictures.

I think there’s probably no problem for us. Wildlife photographers spend a lot of time waiting for a good shot, so the animals are more apt to get used to them.

    Oh, I love these!

Did you ever watch My Life as a Turkey? It was a documentary on our PBS a few years ago…if you haven’t watched it and you ever get the chance, watch it. Even Roger loved it, and Lorelei loved it even when she was younger.

    Love this!
And while I agree they probably just got used to them, I’m willing to bet they all the photographers are kind people who love animals and they could sense that.
    Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I’m sure wildlife photographers love the animals they are taking pictures of, and they are very respectful. I’m sure you’re right that the animals can tell.

Thank you for the links, I can see why you are madly in love with him.
