They keep telling us not to interact with wild animals because it’s not safe for either us nor them. Apparently some animals haven’t gotten the message.

I LOVE IT!!!
and I love the photographers. thank goodness for them.
they give so much to the rest of us!!! especially about nature!
and people like you who find what they’ve done and share it! thank you! XOXO
agree
It takes an enormous amount of patience to be a wildlife photographer. Presumably that’s why animals get used to them being there and get curious. I agree, I’m grateful to them.
I’ve seen these photos before but I never tire of seeing them. Animals are a curious lot and these pictures are living proof of that.
This is the first time I’d seen the pictures and they are priceless.
Big smiles. Sceptical look at baby deer standing on back, but fun. So I went to the website and got to smile all over again. Thanks for the link.
It’s a fun article. π
A little bit scarey.
It could be, depending on the critter. These just seem curious.
Oh these are funny. I’m not quite sure how I would react if a wild animal came up to me like that while I was taking pictures.
I think there’s probably no problem for us. Wildlife photographers spend a lot of time waiting for a good shot, so the animals are more apt to get used to them.
Oh, I love these!
Did you ever watch My Life as a Turkey? It was a documentary on our PBS a few years ago…if you haven’t watched it and you ever get the chance, watch it. Even Roger loved it, and Lorelei loved it even when she was younger.
Thanks for telling me. I think I have access to it and will check it out. π
Love this!
And while I agree they probably just got used to them, Iβm willing to bet they all the photographers are kind people who love animals and they could sense that.
Thanks for sharing!
xo
Oh, and hereβs a few links to Roy that you asked for!

Yes, I’m sure wildlife photographers love the animals they are taking pictures of, and they are very respectful. I’m sure you’re right that the animals can tell.
Thank you for the links, I can see why you are madly in love with him.
