I came across this quote yesterday:
Life is like a camera. Just focus on whatβs important. Capture the good times. Develop from the negatives and if things donβt turn out β just take another shot.

He also wrote,
I tried to be normal once… worst two minutes of my life.
That resonates too.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I’m copying this for my refrigerator (or maybe even print it out & frame it)
Yes, it’s concise and to the point. π
love the 2nd quote…
just about every time I’ve tried that out…someone has commented “you’ve doing it all wrong” and when I question it they say “I explained it to you, already”
of course in certain circumstances, I have winged that “normal thing”
π It reminds me of Andy’s advice to Kaitlin. When people give you advice that doesn’t fit, thank them politely and do what you were going to do anyway.
OH I LOVE THIS!!!
XOXO π
π
That second quote is very funny. Sounds like my Friday Funnies. And I love your photo today.
Yes, I was searching for a picture of a camera, but I never dreamed I would find something like this photo. It made my day.
You always find the best words to quote!!!
That muddy pup could have been Lightning in his younger years:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
He’s so precious. The gal who took the picture was brilliant.
Oh, I so love both of these!
I’m glad you liked them too. π
I love the first quote. And the photo is priceless! The dog must be standing so still and so tall, not moving a muscle. I hope he got lots of treats!
I agree about that photo, as I said above I was looking for a good photo of a camera to illustrate the quote. I never expected to find something like this one. It’s light-hearted and is perfect.
Love both these quotes. So true.
I’m glad you like them too. π
I love love love love love that photo! I also wish I could sit on the ground like that! And that last quote is me! Me! Me! I have never had a normal day in my life
It’s amazing the way she sits, isn’t it? And that second quote cracked me up. π
I don’t think life is like a camera. Life is far more complex than that. Life is more like the weather, constantly shifting and changing and defying our forecasts and expectations.
But I do agree with the second quote – trying to be “normal” can be pretty stultifying.
