We’re having sunshine and an exceptional (highest category) drought here, and Kaitlin, Torben and the pups are having a nor’easter.
Here’s what their yard looked like this evening:
As Kaitlin pointed out, if they could stay up on the land it would be one of those winters where we could keep the door open and the pups could run in and out at will. We need a magic wand! We haven’t seen them in almost a year now…fingers crossed for next summer.
December 5, 2020
oh how beautiful! and at least they can stay home and be cozy.
and yes. here’s to next summer. maybe this pandemic will be a bad dream by then. we can have hope. xoxo
Yes, I’m so glad they don’t have to go anywhere this weekend.
Winter’s always been my favorite season, but I’m not sure I could handle a nor’easter. Fingers crossed!
Yes, fingers crossed the electricity doesn’t go out and they can stay snug at home.
Winter is beautiful, but so are blue skies and sunshine. And family is best of all…I sure hope you get to see them this coming summer.
We do stay close with email and phone calls. I feel blessed.
Oh, I’m so sorry!!
Thank goodness for the internet and phone calls…we stay close.
This covid crap gets me down…not so much ME, but close-knit families that must stay apart, just tears at my psyche!
The snow is pretty (from my dry warm cozy chair). We too are in severe drought.
I love snow on the mountains, not down here. 🙂
I like the idea of the magic wand, when I say I want to go somewhere I can not, I say I need to find Scotty to get him to beam me where I want to go, but I like the magic wand trick better.. brrrrr on all that snow. I hope the pandemic will blow itself out by itself or with help from us, so that you can see your family.. maybe we could use the wand to zap that virus
We’re hoping they can come next July. It would be a lot worse without email, cameras, and phone calls.
Yes, isn’t it amazing, the variety of weather in our Beautiful and Beloved Country!!!!!!!
We’re over her way, but *west* enough, to not have gotten the snow storm. Yet!
The more inland you are the safer you are, right?
Those pictures look like what it did here last week. I would rather have your sunshine
I don’t blame you. I was sad you had to shovel snow after work the other day.
