Sunday it looked like fog up on the land. It was actually light snow, moving almost horizontally because of the wind, and it lasted most of the day. The temperature was about 25°F.
The amazing thing is enough sun was getting through to the greenhouse that the temperature inside was 80°. How crazy is that?!
Andy is still bringing home tomatoes every day.

That is wild about the temp! And almost as wild about the tomatoes.
🙂
perfectly Fresh tomatoes you’ve grown yourselves! wonderful! xo
🙂
wow that’s great about the tomatoes 🙂
weather been a bit crazy down here, almost like summer by about 11ish and having to have the aircon on in the arvo to cool the place down… it’s supposed to be Autumn!
Our weather is usually crazy this time of year, but this was unusual.
Thank goodness for the sun keeping the greenhouse warm.
Yes, we were tickled. 🙂
it is hard to believe that house can hold its temps like this with it so cold outside. indeed a hot house. yay for tomatoes. the ones at the store are not fit for consumption
We agree about tomatoes!
I could (and often do) eat tomatoes every day so that would be no hardship for me.
Saw my first robin yesterday. That’s always a marker for us the spring might actually get here. We’re supposed to get at high as 60 degrees next week.
Fingers crossed for you!
Snow…blizzard conditions, yet…vine ripened tomatoes. What a treat!!!
Yes, it was fun.
Wonderful to hear the tomatoes are thriving!!!
We have had a week of crazy weather. We were just a few miles from a tornado touchdown Monday, now we have rain, and tomorrow we will have snow!!!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!
??????Woos – O’Lightning, O’Misty, and O’Timber??????
I don’t mind rain and snow, but I would hate tornadoes. Just thinking about them scares me.
