As long as it’s not our hot tub it is funny, but it’s also scary and potentially dangerous. A colleague of mine had fruit trees in his back yard, which attracted a bear. He shooed the bear away once or twice, but the next time the bear stood its ground and glared at my friend. He didn’t argue, but went back into the house and phoned the Fish and Game department for help.

I’d rather watch and listen to birds too, but that was quite entertaining:)

  3. Ginny Hartzler says:

Oh my gosh! Don’t know if I would want to get in that hot tub next!

    • Jean says:

I wouldn’t until I had phoned Fish and Game and knew they had relocated the bear. Even so, the tub wouldn’t be nearly as relaxing as it had been.

  4. Rose says:

Can you just imagine being in the hot tub, all relaxed and leaning back with your eyes closed!

  5. Ann Thompson says:

Oh wow, there’s something you don’t see every day.

  6. Myra says:

LOVE it! Then again, I love bears … at a distance.

  7. tammyj says:

it’s always frightening (even if oddly adorable) to have a big creature like that
right in our living space! because they’re unpredictable.
I wonder how they got him out… if the fish and wildlife guys had to come…
it would be interesting to know! he didn’t look like he could be scared away.
    probably Too Relaxed! LOL

  8. MadSnapper says:

imagine getting up in the dark and thinking to go soak and finding it full of bear. glad we only have raccoons and possums and small critters

  9. Linda Sand says:

I wish I could walk a railing and turn around on it as easily as the bear did.
