When I checked my blog this morning yesterday’s post didn’t appear. Say what?? I knew I published it last night, and Sandra and Ann had already commented. When I looked more deeply somehow it said it had been published March 31. It was easy enough to fix once I saw the problem, but really??
Sometimes all you can do is laugh. I keep thinking of a video clip of Will Rogers, shaking his head and saying,
I don’t know what’s going on.
Andy and I are saying that more and more as time goes on. Do you ever feel that way?
April 6, 2020
thank goodness I’m not the only one who thinks that! though it’s hard to believe you two have those moments very often. (or at all!) but at least…
when it happens to me now… I can’t think of more Esteemed company than yours and Andy’s! xoxo
😀 It happens all the time. The nice thing about the Will Rogers quote is things were crazy even back then.
All the time lately!
😀
It’s happening more and more to me, especially since I’ve been home — And I’m glad I’m great company! 🙂
😀
All the time! I’m so glad you and Andy are good.
Sweet dreams!
Thanks! 🙂
I say it all the time. Life seems to get more and more incomprehensible.
Might just as well laugh. 😀
Yep, that’s becoming a common phrase around here 🙂
🙂
To mimic Ginny’s words…”all the time”.
I prescheduled one blog post once for the day following, but it was the wrong month!!!
I don’t mind mistakes like that. Easy to do, easy to correct. But to publish a post and have WordPress mess up hthe date, that’s more puzzling I think.
There is seldom a day I don’t feel that way!
🙂
mine did that last week, but it was my fault. I had created it several weeks ago and never posted it, when I set the date for it to post, i evidently did not set it on the future but picked a past date and it auto posted and disappeared. I had a hard time finding it to change the date.. about the what in the world is going on? for me it is every single day and I answer I don’t know what is going on..
It’s crazy world and getting crazier. Might as well laugh.
Like the one: I don’t use Blogger but many of my blog friends do. Somehow Blogger decided I should not be able to comment on those blogs anymore. Very irritating.
Sometimes Blogger lets me comment from my iPad, sometimes it doesn’t. I agree, that’s annoying, gets in the way of community and friendship. 🙁
I’ve got to a point of not truly understanding the rules – be they in play or just been abandoned – or anything else much to do with “what, how, where and even why” – now I’m just playing it by ear, doing the best I can as I attempt to out and about on my random day trips in my city. I’m still not up to hours meandering about and I note within an hour of coming home, bone tired. Nor have I gone full on window or proper retail shopping, even though there are a few things I want to buy…because I’ve lost weight and things are a little baggy on me 🙂
That sounds like a wise approach. 🙂
