Because I wanted to buy that plot of land…I used to love to walk up there. Don’t do it much now, but I still love it and am glad we have it. 🙂

It may sound corny, but …..
At times like this, do you ever get the notion to sing that old Carpenters song, “Top of the World (looking down on creation ….)”?

You make me miss the days when Dave’s family owned a rustic cabin on 20 acres of woodland. We used to go there at least once a month for a quiet weekend. Except in November when the deer hunters were out with guns. It’s great to have a place to retreat to, isn’t it?

    Awwwww…

  6. It’s really beautiful, and the pictures truly show that, and what a peaceful place it is. I love it!

It’s beautiful. That is a spectacular view. I wondered if you were the mom it was named after.

  8. Way to go! I couldn’t do that with my lungs. It is so beautiful.

Kaitlin always has to take it easy the first day or so because of the altitude, and she’s in good shape. It’s a serious consideration.
