Tempi can be mischievous at times, but she’s often poised and alert. Kaitlin and Torben adopted Zoe in June 2018, and a few months later, when Kaitlin and I were talking on the phone, there was suddenly a lot of loud barking in the background. It turned out Tempi was sitting on the couch calmly looking out the window, as she loved to do, and Zoe was barking in her ear, apparently trying to get Tempi’s attention. Tempi didn’t even flinch, she continued calmly looking out the window.
I’m a visual thinker so I’m saving this image to remind me to stay focused on what’s important to me instead of being distracted and perturbed by the inevitable petty annoyances in life. Yay, Tempi!
Here are two more pictures from that time.

I am really liking these photos!!!!
π
That is a great photo of Tempi! But I so love them all, specially that last!
I love that one too! Tempi is so patient.
I need a few lessons from Tempi! just stay focused no matter what. Love that stare and did laugh out loud at Zoe still trying to get her attention. this is aprecious post

That first soulful image is sure mesmerizing.
Here’s a penny for your thoughts! Or, would you rather have a juicy steak?
I’m sure she wouldn’t say no to a steak. π
This is a lovely portrait of Tempi, it looks like she is posing for it. I have not heard this name anywhere else, does it have a meaning?
Her full name is The Tempest. She was excitable when they got her in 2016, and they get the names for their pups from a book of cocktail recipes someone gave them, telling them βHereβs a book of dog names.β
I love the photos, and the last one made me laugh and shows a bit of their relationship!
Kaitlin says Zoe wasn’t intimidated by being the new kid. She thinks that was Tempi’s bone Zoe was chewing on. π
the power of doing nothing, much at all and looking out of the window at ?nothing and being in a happy place
Yes, we humans sometimes need to be reminded.
Love the first one. It really shows Tempis focus. That last one just made me laugh.

They are so cute. I miss having my Skye. Praying a dog comes into our lives soon.
I hope it happens, fingers crossed.
