One of the Many Things I’m Grateful For…

is that Kaitlin, Torben, and the pups don’t have to travel this December. Last year they moved from Massachusetts to California and arrived at their new place on December 22. They managed to get through Donner Pass just in time, it was closed the next day because of the snow.

On the 23th they sent these pictures of Tempi

and their Christmas tree.

It still warms my heart to look at them.

Stay safe and warm, everyone!

that tree is sooo precious, almost as precisous as Tempi. waiting to see the tree and pups this year and happy they are home for Christmas and not traveling or waiting on furniture

  2. Holiday travel is scary and if I had a big family I’d pick Easter or the 4th of July for my major family time. Traveling when your life could be at risk and it’s stressful is not my idea of a good time.
Glad your family is so much closer now!

They’re going back to MA next summer and plan to visit on their way. Then it’s back to a long, long distance because they bring the pups and have to drive.

  3. How heartwarming! That wee tree is adorable!

A wonderful photo of Tempi beside the fire. Is there a meaning to the name? The cutest little tree!

    Love the tree!!!

We had one not much bigger than that the year we were moving back home in January. It was precious, too, and still warms my heart to think of it.
