Sigh. Sandra Is Probably Right

In her comment to yesterday’s post, Sandra/Mad Snapper said:

I think this is photoshopped or AI generated. I could cut him out and put him anywhere. it is to planned and the edges of the bear are blurred.

I’m afraid Sandra is right. Around here people do find bears on their decks, but the bears are looking for food, not taking time to enjoy the view.

Sigh. It was such a great idea and picture. I enjoyed believing it. 🙁

  1. interesting

for me, a bear would probably never even roam the streets in New Zealand and so I’m always fascinated at any of the animals we don’t “do here” 🙂

  2. Ann Thompson says:

Quite possible that it is photoshopped but it’s still a fun picture.

  3. I believe the bear is real; it is the deck which has been photoshopped and added afterwards!

    God bless.

  4. Rose says:

I figured not real, but like you thought it fun.

  5. MadSnapper says:

it was fun, I should have kept my mouth shut. my mouth filter has left the brain

…I liked it when what you saw and heard was the real deal.

  7. Photoshopped photos can be a great source of amusement. And if something can make us smile, like this photo, so much the better.

  8. Ginny Hartzler says:

I think she is right, this is something she really knows about. Plus I watched a thing about how you can tell, as in blurry edges and things do not line up right. It is still cute though.

  9. Myra Guca says:

Well, I enjoyed it as well. Like visiting Universal Studios and peeking behind the facades. That didn’t diminish my pleasure.

  10. The OP Pack says:

Oh well, it was still a lot of fun to see.

  11. I work in photoshop a lot and I’m not sure. If it is, it’s a good one because you can see the rear leg reflection in the shine from the rain.

  12. Bruce Taylor says:

Yes, I’m afraid it’s too casual for a bear.
