A Bit More Rain, No Party

We had more rain Monday evening:

Enough to make the dog park under the bedroom window muddy:

But fortunately for the dog owners it had dried up by yesterday:

Inwoukd be loving the rain…but sure woukd be messy for the dogs and their owners if it did not dry up quickly.

  2. We had just one drop of rain last night. We had to share it with the neighbours. We need a bit more rain for the garden.

    God bless.

…please send any extra rain our way!

    • Jean says:

We don’t have extra here, but some parts of the state are having flash floods and would be more than happy to share.

That looks like a nice, safe dog enclosure/park. Are there many fur-baby residents in your complex?

I can’t stop staring at those pine needles, begging to be made into a loop necklace!

    • Jean says:

Some of the buildings allow dogs. They are quiet, so I don’t know how many there are. They only started allowing them a few years ago, and I was happy about the change.

I bet you get some good entertainment looking out at the dog park! I would love that!

    • Jean says:

I was hoping more would use it, but I do love watching when one comes. It was a thoughtful touch on the part of the management.

  6. Re: Your comment on my Blog.

    Hello Cheerful Monk.

Have you seen my video of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” as sung by my friend Father Francis Maple?

    God bless.

Thank you! Are you familiar with the Singing Nun? That was one of my favorite albums, but I seldom play records nowadays.

  7. Thanks for visiting my blog. I’ve read several of your posts. You are a thinker. I like that. I also read your profile. You are a smart thinker! You’ve got me thinking about happiness. I generally think of it as contentment, but aren’t they basically the same? Happiness may be at a higher level. Nice to have ‘met’ you.

  8. The OP Pack says:

Oh that muddy dog area would really make a mess out of my newly groomed pups:). Glad you got some more rain. Happy 4th.

  9. Dogs like to get nice and muddy!

  10. well our weather changed from much rain to getting up to frost and -2 degrees – learning later from my friendly bus driver that 5am he was removing ice from the front wind shields of the bus…

the highest temp for the day was only about 13 (c) but it was a crisp sun and rather nippy in the shade

    tomorrow the same is expected

What a wonderful complex you live in. They even have a dog park.

  12. Yes, I remember the singing nun from years ago.

I have known the “Singing Monk” (Father Francis) for a number of years. He has raised over £1m for charity by singing in malls and shopping centres in the UK. I have put his songs on You Tube – see right hand column.
