We have electricity on the land now…the new batteries are working fine. When I was up there Sunday I saw how Andy is insulating them to keep them warm in winter.

Andy is so good at figuring these things out. He’s a handy guy to have around.

  2. so good to hear – give the greenhouse a bit of warmth and growth of things you will like to see and of course eat

I hope there’s not a short and the insulation catches fire.

These batteries are safer that way. They don’t blow up. And they’re in an underground concrete house far from the residence. But fingers crossed nothing bad happens.

I always wonder what Andy’s career was.. I feel like I knew at some point, or maybe I was guessing.

    • Jean says:

He has a Ph.D. in experimental physics and is very good at designing electronics and in trouble shooting equipment when it goes wrong. .

  12. That is good news on the battery. You know that when you comment I have never been able to respond back to you because you are a no-reply. I’ve been meaning to ask Sandra and keep forgetting. Now there is an issue which several people are experiencing. Everyone’s responses are coming as no-reply. We have to click remove and put in the email. It’s a mess. Anyway I would love to have your email address.
