It’s Been Eighteen Months…

since I decided to learn some Spanish.

I’m still using Duolingo a few minutes a day, mostly learning vocabulary, and I’m still watching Netflix videos with Spanish subtitles. As I said in Learning Language Like a Baby, some of it is sticking without much effort on my part. The main thing is it’s fun and it makes me feel good to honor the commitment. That’s my main reward.

…when I was in the nursery business I had a number of Mexican workers. Sadly my Spanish skills were poor.

This is awesome!! My husband’s family owns a 85 year old nursery business and they have several who speak Spanish. Over the years, my husband has learned to speak it. I sure wish I could. Hope you totally achieve this.
