How do you feel about winter days? I prefer this time of year to the long days of summer, no doubt because we have so many sunny days. There’s something special about the angle of the light that comes streaming in our living room when the sun is out. Relaxing on the couch with that sunshine yesterday was one of the highlights of my life.
Which do you prefer? Summer or winter?

I prefer summer for the temperatures because I hate the cold but I actually prefer winter for the shorter days. I go to bed pretty early and in the summer it’s hard to do that when it’s still light out.
Spring and Autumn too.

winter but Florida Winter, not icy winter. the sun is much more beautiful here too when it is winter, I love the slanting rays of morning and evening.

… to these short days of Winter that is. There’s just something about seeing warm lamp-lights — candles, even — glowing behind neighborhood windows.
I love the winter mood. I love the flowers of summer, but I am a winter person.
Our days are way too short here in the winter, the sky darkening by 3:30 pm and the sunset at 4:16. Sunrise isn’t until almost 9am. Sigh. Dark is better than the cold though:)
I can’t answer your question directly because I prefer Spring and Autumn.
Hard to say. I’m not sure which one I like best. I’ve been leaning towards daylight savings time all year.
All those years when I went to work in the dark and came home in the dark made me not a fan of winter. I need sunlight.
My son LOVES Winter and we’re Canadian so one must embrace it, but the truth is I love Spring.
I do agree with you about the angle of the winter sun, it is really lovely! But I hate it getting dark at 4:30. For one thing, I get scared when we have to drive in the dark.

Spring and Autumn here too. I do love the sun, but not when it is Kansas HOT. But a cold sunny day without the wind isn’t too bad either.
