Write a little every day, without hope, without despair.

I love this quote and for me it’s not just about writing, it’s about living our values even though there’s no guarantee things will turn out the way we want. Patience, perseverance, and courage can be powerful when hope is in short supply.

    Well, I chose “hope” as my guiding word for the year. With all that could be down the road for us, hope seems like the best way to go.

    I can’t imagine NOT knowing the Lord and not having Hope in this world today.

      Does it have to be in this world? What are you hoping for? This reminds me of Kathleen Norris’s, “Prayer is not asking for what you think you want, but asking to be changed in ways you can’t imagine.”
