A quote I loved even more came from a cooking competition when one contestant’s effort received harsh criticism.

Well, that was a character-building experience, wasn’t it?

    Yes trying how to cope with a health issue that has no real treatment protocol. Appears it’s worse if I’m faced with “on high aircon or heat pump” circumstances…

    I’ve changed part of that home, but means I’m sitting with the men…for meals. Neither seem to mind!

    But I can’t control other places in the real world…

      Attitude makes a big difference. I figure if you have to live through the pain you might as well learn and grow from it.

    I can’t recall any character-building experiences of late, but yes. More often than not, I’ve been a ‘poster child’ for what not to do. Thankfully, I’ve not killed anyone … and can usually laugh at myself.
