a couple of years ago, there was an advertisement for bringing your own container/bags when shopping.
The guy got fish and chips and put them on a handichief and walked out. Of course he couldn’t hold it, so hot and before he knew it “seagulls”
I can see this as being a catchy name but for many of us who do not live near the ocean, beach…..my first thought my be that they were selling tiny fish for visitors to throw in the air. LOL. this is funny.
I’d have to go on vacation to deal with seagulls–lol! But I have seen enough videos to know they can be real pests. Around here we are mosquito food–lol!
So funny!
This reminds me of the time I left a little bowl of my dog’s Kibble bits on my mother’s kitchen counter. Sure enough, I rounded the corner to see her sampling!
We were in Howth, Ireland in summer 2023 at a restaurant near the pier and a stealthy seagull swooped in and took the ice cream cone right out of a person’s hand. Yikes.
LOL. This reminds me of a place I used to pass that had a sign out front advertising fish bread. I couldn’t figure out who would want fish bread. Then I realized they were offering stale bread to feed the fish at a nearby attraction. I still laugh every time I drive by and read that sign
Good one Jean. Every lunchtime outside my window, all these seagulls gather in a field and discuss the events of the day for about an hour. It’s quite a sight. The lake is nearby (where many feed) but the conversation of about 100 of them is incredible.
Extraordinary creatures.

That’s funny!
Same here at every seaside resort.
God bless.
It’s an easy way to get food. 🙂
…they are hungry little devils.
🙂
Too funny!!
🙂
I can attest to the truth of this, we have one 3 miles from us, and its a stand and tables in the sand, if you eat there you eat with gulls
They can be very assertive!
Too funny and too true.

I have a sign on my door that reads: “Today I will be as happy as a seagull with a french fry.” This cartoon cracks me up.
Thanks for telling us about your sign. 🙂
DUH! He is in for a big surprise.
Yes. He will quickly be enlightened.

That is not uncommon. 🙂
No kidding, they love those fries!
