This Reminds Me of Tempi

Tempi is a book lover, so Kaitlin and Torben try to keep them out of her reach. They don’t always succeed.

The following is one of their favorite photos, about a book Tempi did not love.

She was highly indignant and wrote about it in Bad Present (in 2016). She wrote

…what kind of a Grandmother would give a book like this to my parents?! And let my Mom read it (or try to) right in front of me?

Did she conveniently forget the damage she had done to Torben’s mother’s living room when they had visited earlier in the year?

Probably. At the end of the post she’s wondering if the book has some new ideas for her to try.

  1. Some dogs can be destructive.

    God bless.

She is such an intelligent character!

    …devouring literature?

  4. Ann Thompson says:

Oh that is too funny with the book title. It’s funny how dogs are about certain things. Gibbs has a fascination with paper things. He’ll steal tissues, paper towels or random paper items if they are in his reach.

I told you Baby Girl was so much like Tempi and this is more proof. I used to read an entire paperback novel, one per week and I was about 3/4 of done and she ate the entire back of the book, no way to find out what happened unless I bought another book, nothing on line back them

  6. Yes, some dogs can do a lot of damage, for sure.

  7. Myra says:

What a perfect photo! (Well, maybe not to Kaitlin.)
Who can say what tickles their tastebuds.

  8. Ginny Hartzler says:

    Too funny!!!

  9. Is there any way to bring her of that? lol

  10. Our Titan would probably eat a book if he got his paws on one!

  11. Shug says:

Funny how she chooses books to be her item to tear up.. Many dogs select shoes and we have one that likes to eat socks!! Wishing you all a happy 4th ahead as well as the upcoming weekend.
