I’m Glad I’m Not Young Any More

I remember that song, that is how old I am!! Hadn’t thought of it for many years.
It’s still one of my favorites.
The video made me laugh. When I was working at the grocery store the boss’s dad who was the actual owner of the store would come in and make fun of my hair turning gray and he would sing this song.
That wasn’t very nice!
It has been forever since I’ve heard the song the old gray mare. Even though I still am not considering myself Old yet, I do like the song. But yes, I am definitely getting older.

I say this to Mark at least once a day. And the old grey mare, my old grey mare is exactly what she used to be. She’s been set in her ways since birth!

I’m now surprised when I find a hair that’s not gray. Apparently, I still have a few in the back that have not yet changed but the front has been gray so long that it surprises me to find one.
