Yay, Crayola!

The image of a child on the floor playing has always been a symbol of what I was aiming for — to be completely absorbed in the moment. So I was tickled when I saw Crayola “Floor Pads” (22″ X 16″) at the store tonight.

    i must check out those floor pads. coloring has always been a favorite of mine.
    my gram used to send us each our own 64 count box once a year. through the mail.
    talk about something so excitedly awaited!!!
    can you imagine that these days… a little kid waiting for crayons in the mail? 🙂
    there’s something so relaxing about coloring.

      I still get excited when I get new colors in the mail, so I can imagine how you felt. If you’d like to try some colorful but inexpensive oil pastels let me know. I can send you some.

      Yes, especially journal writing when you’re interested in things that the people around you aren’t. It keeps that part of you alive.
